Sharing the joy of Durga Puja by bringing new clothes, dignity and festive happiness to those who need it most.
SHARAD SANGAM combines practical clothing support with inclusive celebration during Durga Puja. Prochesta distributes new clothes to elderly people and orphan children and also facilitates Durga Puja pandal-hopping experiences with children from orphanages.
Festivals are often associated with new clothes, family gatherings and community celebration, but people experiencing social or financial disadvantage may have fewer opportunities to participate. Children in institutional care may also miss the ordinary festive experiences that many families take for granted.
The programme combines need-based distribution with participation. New clothes are planned and distributed with dignity, while pandal-hopping activities are organised with appropriate permission, adult supervision, safety planning and coordination with the relevant orphanage or child-care institution. The emphasis is on a safe, respectful and memorable experience rather than simply a photo opportunity.
Who Get Benefits: Elderly people and children living in orphanages or child-care institutions, depending on the year's programme plan and available resources.

Impact & Measurement: Report numbers of beneficiaries, clothes distributed, children participating in pandal visits, partner institutions involved, activity costs and participant/guardian feedback. Photographs should be used responsibly and with appropriate consent.
How You Can Support: Support can fund new clothing, transportation, refreshments where planned, safety/logistics and programme coordination. Donors can sponsor a set number of beneficiaries or contribute to the overall celebration.
